When David D'Angelo took a week long trip from Denver to Singapore, he decided to snap a picture every couple of minutes (or hours). As far as time-lapses go, it's sort of an odd one. Whereas many people use time-lapse to depict an entire process that occurs over time, the most striking thing about this video is everything that isn't in it. There's plenty of transportation, but very little destination. He's on a plane, a train, a moped -- there's so much movement, but to where? and for what reason?Denver to Singapore (and back) in 5 minutes from David DAngelo on Vimeo.
It isn't until you've really thought about it that you remember that the most amazing thing about this kind of travel isn't the sights that you see or the people you meet (you can do that anywhere), but the ability to do it, to traverse an entire ocean twice and be granted free entry into three counties, all over the course of about seven days.
